With an impressive Opening Party, the owner of the “North Padel Club” Lampis Velos, welcomed personalities from the artistic, journalistic and business world of the city, in an impressive evening in the new stadiums of the Northern Suburbs. Dimitris Ouggarezos took care of the opening with an explosive Dj Show.
The new “North Padel Club” in Gerakas, is one of the best sports infrastructure of the famous activity, as it has 3 courts with the highest standards, professional WPT carpet. The facilities also offer a number of amenities that cater to all kinds of needs, such as a snack bar with a variety of snacks, drinks, coffees, locker rooms, an accessory and comfortable areas for relaxation. The members of the club have the opportunity to choose between group lessons, individual lessons, simple rental of stadiums, while also the facilities include an organized academy for children aged 6 to 18 years.
Padel is a combination of tennis, squash, racket and is played on a court a little smaller than a tennis court and always in pairs. There are no lines around the stadium but special windows and wires. The rules are the same as these tennis, with the only difference being the surrounding wall, which is part of the game. It is a simple sport for all ages and fitness, improves reflexes and is ideal for children, as it promotes teamwork.
