Katerina Lioliou, the most accomplished performer of her generation, has added another major success to her list, as her album “1994” went platinum, counting almost 91 million streaming points, while some of the songs it includes also received platinum and gold distinctions. The award ceremony was held by Panik Records CEO, George Arsenakos, who congratulated Katerina Lioliou on her new success, noting that continuous and hard work pays off.
Katerina Lioliou received the plaques for the platinum album “1994”, the double platinum singles “Noikiastike” and “I gynaika tis zois sou”, the platinum “Ι Diki Mou i trela” and the gold singles “pao sto nisi” and “o antras twn oneirwn mou”. Emotional and smiling, she thanked George Arsenakos, the Panik Platinum team and the song writers, as well as the audience who has embraced her warmly and is by her side every step of the way. The glamorous celebration, which took place at “Barbarossa Athens” with actor Thanos Birkos as the host, was attended by people from the worlds of music, acting, the media and radio, as well as friends of Katerina Lioliou.
The creators of the songs also received honorary plaques, as well as radio stations that have supported the successful album and its songs. The evening “closed” with the always glamorous Katerina Lioliou having a musical surprise in store for everyone, singing unplugged with piano accompaniment.
