The Olympian Olga Piliaki and her husband Stelios Hadabakis, believing in the ideals of sport and “fair competition”, organized a charity football match under the auspices of the Municipality of Ilion and Mayor Nikos Zenetou with the faction “Democratic Cooperation”, in which Olga candidate for Municipal Councilor, for the collection of essential items for our fellow flood victims in Thessaly. The match took place at the Radio Sports Center in Ilion and there the “Celebrity Team” competed, with the participation of distinguished Olympians, football players, artists and the “Mixed Municipality of Ilion”, with the participation of people active in Ilion and members of the Sports Clubs. Among others, the following participated: Stelios Hadabakis, Michalis Mourotsos, Aris Souledis, Sakis Katsoulis, Triantafyllos, Mc Daddy, Kostas Chalkias, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Stelios Kritikos, Loukas Giorkas, Kostas Fragolias, Sara Eskenazi and many others!
In the charity match, the support of the fellow citizens of the Municipality of Ilion was enormous and, giving their strength, they congratulated the candidate Municipal Councilor Olga Piliaki for her life for this important initiative, which resulted in the collection of valuable goods for the flood victims of Thessaly, such as painkillers, antihistamines, first aid items (gauzes, alcohol, betadine), gloves, masks, electrolytes, mosquito repellents, saline, personal hygiene items, stationery, disinfectants, general purpose cleaners & cleaning items.
