Their first-born daughter Doretta (Theodora) was baptized, in the Holy Church of the Nativity of John the Forerunner in the beautiful Oreokastro of Thessaloniki, by the well-known northern industrialist Stelios Prokopidis and the wife of Polytimis. The sacrament was performed in the presence of many relatives and dear friends of the couple, who traveled from all over Greece to wish the newborn Doretta, but also many well-known personalities from the business world and the public life of the co-capitalist, who wished the co-founder the best for the joyous event of the “AfrOnline” industry. The neophyte Doretta received the name of the father of the businessman Theodoros, while her godparents were the brother of the industrialist and co-founder of the industry Ioannis Prokopidis and his wife Iliana.
During the reception, amid a fairy-tale backdrop of pink details and endless pampas grass, the couple, who had been beaming with happiness throughout the evening, emotionally thanked everyone who graced their daughter’s most special day. The christening party lasted until the early hours of the morning, while the singer – friend of the couple, Christos Holidis, took off the fun with an amazing live program. A special moment for this beautiful evening was the point at which, being a Pontian by origin like the businessman, he sang Pontic songs, accompanied by the characteristic Pontic lyre!
