With the slogan “If you save a child, you save the whole world” in the context of the 86th International Exhibition of Thessaloniki, a unique event was held by the “Frodida Tou Paidiou” charity organization, in the presence of the President of the association, Mr. Anastasia Eminidou, volunteers and celebrities guests from the political and artistic world, who contributed practically to the valuable work, buying the new children’s fairy tales and strengthening even more the important purpose of the organization.
The “Frodida Tou Paidiou” Charity Organization is a voluntary, non-profit organization, created in 2012 by ordinary young people with a desire to help needy and sick children. Based mainly on the strength of its volunteers and donations from citizens, for 10 years it has been covering basic and ongoing needs of both children and their families who need help. The resources come exclusively from citizens’ donations and from sales of products (fairy tales, diaries, greeting cards) by volunteers. The goals of the organization are to provide financial support to children suffering from cancer, neo-plastic, incurable or incurable diseases, who are in immediate need of treatment in Greece or abroad, the financial support of sick and needy children who are in need of special guidance and education, the provision of any assistance to needy families with children, with food, clothing, medical pharmaceutical and psychological support in cooperation with doctors, other organizations and associations or fraternities that provide charitable activities and the defense in any legal way of medical, moral, social and material interests of children and their families.
