The Voluntary Animal Welfare Association of Petroupolis – “Save the Tails”, with an inexhaustible love for the homeless, for the past 5 years has hosted in the shelter an average of 15 animals and mainly elderly, who need special care.In order to take care of the homeless on a daily basis, they provide feeding, clean drinking water and medicine through the shelter, as well as feeding and neutering cats in neighborhoods, caring for sick or battered animals and hosting them temporarily until found permanent home.
As part of the activity for information and awareness in relation to the needs of our four-legged friends, a unique Open Air-Event was held in the shelter of St. Petersburg with distinguished guests from the artistic and journalistic world, in the presence of Joyce Evidi, Dimitri Ougarezos and Annita Nathanail.
The event was held with the kind support of Alexandra Panagiotarou – Alexandra’s Boutique, who embraced this effort in its own way, so that no animal suffers helplessly on the streets.
