With the completion of the 35 years of operation of Rodos Palace, Antonis & Mary Kabourakis seized the opportunity and organized a unique 3 day event of relaxation and entertainment, where personalities from the fields of journalism, business, and show business, enjoyed first hand the one-of-a-kind luxury and irreproachable hospitality that only Rodos Palace offers. All guests had the chance to dine at Alexis’ historical fish-tavern in the Old Town, where Onassis, Anthony Quinn, Melina Merkouris and Abramovitch are just a few of the names that have been there in the past, and would later visit the picturesque bars of the Old Town.
The lunch at the Golden Cap awarded restaurant of Mavrikos, situated at the central square of Lindos, will also remain unforgettable, where Dimitris & Michael Mavrikos prepared their delicious creations with care, as well as the farewell lunch at the Gourmet restaurant of Rodos Palace, “12 Islands”.
Lastly, the grand anniversary event was a huge success. It took place at La Scala Mercedes, right next to the hotel, in front of 2000 guests where Vassileios Kostetsos presented a unique fashion show for Spring & Summer 2009, while Tamta along with her band, and Cabin 54, were in charge of the music.
Eleonora Meletis presented the show, while the assiduity and organization of the whole 3-day event for the 35 years of Rodos Palace was in the care of Haris Sianidis.
