The official opening of the brand new Mexican restaurant “Rayen El alma de Mexico” was held with great success in Alimos, in the presence of many invited guests from the journalistic, artistic and business world of Athens, as well as many friends of the well known entrepreneur and owner of “Rayen” Vasilis Stathokostopoulos and his collaborators Konstantinos Katsigiannis and Panagiotis Dafnis. The menu was edited by the top executive chef Petros Syrigos who prepared the most delicious dishes – selected for the inaugural evening – with spicy options, tacos, burritos, and of course refreshing Margaritas
Rayen is the new, gastronomic spot of our city and is located on the beach of Alimos (Poseidonos Avenue 10) next to the famous “Penarrubia Lounge” which this year literally puts on fire the coastal avenue. It draws inspiration from the warm Mexican resort of Tulum in a bohemian style where Petros Syrigos has undertaken to initiate visitors to the Mexican cuisine and culture, while bartender Teo Spyropoulos serves refreshing, classic and signature cocktails
Tables, folds and colorful pillows make Rayen a place of absolute relaxation overlooking the endless blue, something that was definitely missing from our beach and is expected to become a summer destination for the evening excursions of the Athenians, with spiritual house musical and Latin American influences which will be enveloped on weekends with live music acts.
