Because of the 20th Thessaloniki International Book Fair, the well -known Cypriot businessman and author Dr. Dimitrios Zamboglou presented in the historical hall “Philological Cafe” for the first time his book “Become the Leader of Your own”, released by “Intelligence”, with the literary curator of Vicky Hatzivasiliou, who coordinated the event. Many friends of the author from all over the world, but also the most important personalities of the journalistic and artistic space of the capital and gave the “present” and congratulated Dr. Dimitrios Zamboglou for his new venture.
What is leadership? What does one need to become a real leader? Is the leadership only for company managers, political leaders and renowned scientists? The well -known Cypriot businessman, writer and founder of “Zamboglou Family Foundation”, who supports children from non -privileged families through sponsorships, offering them the opportunity to study in sciences and arts, Dr. Dimitrios Zamboglou gave his own personal answers to them and many other questions that were addressed during the presentation, while at the end of it he exchanged views with the readers and signed his books at the stand of the “Intelligence” editions.
Instead of presenting a number of further problems for examination, the book urges the reader to act and find solutions. Through a series of simple exercises that are entertaining, it helps the reader to examine his personal leadership choices and commitments and begin to structure his next move. The core of the book comes from Dr. Zamboglou’s doctoral dissertation at King’s College, London, in which he was investigating high -performance traders and financial markets. Research on the behavior of merchants, coupled with the favorite heroes of Greek mythology such as Hercules, Icarus and Minotaur, creates characters with which each can be identified. “Every dream, no matter how small or big it is, can be pursued,” says Dr. Zamboglou, noting that this book does not expect the reader to have a talent, as he notes, “is subjective and variable depending on the circumstances. ” “For me, this book is a guide. If the reader decides he wants to change his life, then he can only seek to read it, ”the author notes.
