The first day of the 42nd Fur Fair in Kastoria began with the most impressive way. Minister of Finance of Greece Dimitris Papadimitriou, launched the International Fair, which once more attracted hundreds of entrepreneurs all over the world.
District of Kastoria and the Greek fur trade continue to form one of the most significant pillars of the country’s development, providing thousands of job placements and massive income for its economy.
President of Fur Trade Association Giannis Korentsidis welcomed in Kastoria personalities of the public life, as well as several celebrities of the business, artistic and journalistic world.
Following the exhibition’s opening, a unique GALA took place at «Doltso» square, where fashion, beauty, fur’s prestige and the beautiful landscape of Kastoria held a prominent place.
The impressive collections of the 15 fur enterprises who participated at the Fair, «married» with the tradition and civilization of our city, confirming in action that Kastoria interweaves with fur.
Beloved show hostess Stamatina Tsimtsili presented the event, while Nina Lotsari accompanied by North Greece’s Music School, stunned the audience with her wonderful voice.
