Katerina Lioliou and Panik Platinum celebrated their latest major success at a glamorous event, marking the platinum sales of the album “My Own DNA” and its singles.
Continuing her unstoppable rise, Katerina Lioliou achieved yet another of the year’s biggest commercial successes, as “My Own DNA” has surpassed 148 million streaming points and recorded thousands of physical album sales.
Songs such as “Me ‘Geia Sou,” “To ‘Vale,” “Gia Tin Epomeni,” “Gkremiste,” “My Own DNA,” “Ta Filia Mou,” and “Syggnomi Alla” instantly became audience favorites, topping digital charts, YouTube trends, and radio airplay. At the same time, the album has become a viral phenomenon, with its tracks generating more than 272,000 video creations on TikTok.
Presenting the award, Panik co-founder and CEO Giorgos Arsenakos stated: “The first and greatest element of DNA is the love Katerina has for what she does. I believe Katerina has earned this special place in people’s hearts because she is their voice. We are fortunate to do this job and to work with such artists.”
Happy and emotional, Katerina Lioliou, whose name has become synonymous with success, dedicated the award to the album’s contributors, the Panik team, and the audience, saying among other things: “What I have learned is that you cannot go anywhere without teamwork and without trusting your collaborators. Therefore, we should trust one another and love one another. I also realized that a person’s value does not grow by diminishing others; true strength is earned through respect.”
During the evening, there was also a surprise announcement, as Panik revealed from the stage the renewal of its collaboration with Katerina Lioliou, the rock diva of contemporary Greek popular music.
The event was hosted by the beloved and unconventional Greek TV duo Christos Koutras and Giannis Ntsounos, and was attended by artists, composers, lyricists, figures from the broader entertainment industry, representatives from all major media outlets and radio stations, as well as the Panik team.
Among those present at the idyllic “Sea Satin Athens Riviera” venue were Petros Iakovidis, Angela Dimitriou, Alexandros Tsouvelas, Julien MacDonald, Christina Politi, Themis Georgantas, Thanos Petrelis, Giorgos Papadopoulos, Elena Tsagrinou, Anastasios Rammos, Charis Savva, Morfoula, Elina Papila, Akis Deiximos, Marseaux, Tasos Xiarcho, Ioannis Arvanitidis, Christos Santikai and Laura Narges, Maria Fragkaki, Tryfonas Samaras, Alexandra Panagiotarou, Cinderella, Super Kiki, Faye Theocharis, Nikiforos, Solmeister, Dimitris Gkoutzamanis, Fipster, Marina Patouli, Matina Zara, and Elena Konsta.
