Dr. George Besiris, Orthopedic Surgeon and Doctor of the School of Medicine of the University of Athens and the “Orthopedia” team, welcomed many well-known showbiz people, journalists and artists, to their renovated place, to celebrate the opening of the new clinic and the 10 continuous years of successful operation of “Orthopedia”. During the evening the guests saw the impressive premises of the new clinic, with the music of Dj Dimitris Ougarezos. The coordination of the evening was undertaken by the famous presenter Eleni Tsolaki.
“Orthopedia”, was founded by George Besiris in 2013. Ten years later, he has managed to operate in both Athens and Corfu, increasing his clinics. The goal of both the Doctor himself and the “Orthopedia” Team is to provide high quality health services and comprehensive treatment for every orthopedic problem. Dr. George Besiris, has many years of experience in private clinics and hospitals, as well as in the medical treatment of various sports clubs, since he holds the position of the Founding member of the Medical Society Covering Sports Events, the former vice-president of the health committee in the Union of Football Associations of Western Attica, the member of the Scientific Club of Medical Students and Young Doctors, a member of the Hellenic Society of Trauma and Emergency Surgery and a member of the Sports Medicine Society of Greece and the Athens Medical Association. All this long experience led Dr. George Besiris Orthopedic Surgeon and Doctor of the School of Medicine of the University of Athens, to have the position of Director of the Department of Orthopedics at the Private Clinic “Doctors Hospital”, which is located in Athens.
