The 1st forum “Freddo Lovers” was held at the iconic “Macedonia Palace” hotel in Thessaloniki, and talked about the first cold coffee was accidentally discovered in 1957 during the international exhibition. At the event was famous people, as well as exquisite guests from the artistic world, who traveled exclusively from Athens to participate in this pioneering Greek café, focused on the flagship Freddo Espresso. “Raising the Greek Coffee Culture on the World Stage” is the motto of businessman Gennadios Lavrentidis and the creator of “Freddo Espresso Beverage & Enterprise (FEBE)”, which envisions this forum to be the beginning of the exploration of Freddo’s capabilities as a symbol of Greek culture.
Over 60 professionals in the Greek coffee industry participated in a unique experience of blind tasting, offering information on the different flavors and aromas of coffee and with a common goal of promoting Freddo internationally as a unique Greek beverage. “Freddo Lovers” is more than just a celebration. It is a strategic initiative to place Greek coffee, especially Freddo, on the world stage. This is the creation of a narrative that transcends the border, highlighting the rich upholstery of Greek coffee culture and its potential in international markets.
