In the heart of the Northern Suburbs, the annual Charity Gala was held by the social organization “We Are One”, on the occasion of World Health Day, in support of the General Oncology Hospital of Athens “Agios Savvas” and the Foundation for Children “Pammakaristos”, at the “Theoxenia Palace” hotel, with the support and assistance of the Ministry of Health. The President, Mrs. Sofia F. Katsigianni in her report, after welcoming the guests, emphasized, among other things, that: “Solidarity and giving are values that do not remain in words, but are put into practice and this is proven today, here, at the Charity Gala that we are organizing to support two organizations with great work: the General Oncology and Anti-Cancer Hospital “Agios Savvas” and the Children’s Foundation “Pammakaristos”. Congratulations to all of you! For the love you give, for your giving, for the message of hope that we all send today together”. The event was also attended by the Minister of Health, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, who in his greeting thanked the Hon. “We Are One” for organizing this event and added that the General Oncology Hospital “Agios Savvas” is among the top hospitals in Europe for its innovative medical methods and the specialized treatments it offers.
The event was presented by journalist Magda Tsegkou and was welcomed by, among others, the Hospital Governor Mr. Anastasios Karandreas, the President of the “Pammakaristos” Children’s Foundation, Mr. Nikolaos Roussos, the Administrator of the 1st Regional Directorate Ms. Olga Balaoura, as well as journalists Zina Koutselinis & Vicky Hatzivasiliou, expressing their deep appreciation and warm congratulations to the President of the organization, Ms. Sofia F.
