Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital: High importance donation by “Patras Women Union”
Patras Women Union, the biggest charity association in southwest Greece proved that an effort made by many people provides the best results.
In a modest event, machines of high significance were delivered for the nursing and surgery care of a series of incidents.
Income was invested on machines such as a Triple pump of liquid and medicine infusion, a complete cool lighting throat examination set suitable for nurslings, infants and children and two trolleys of anesthesiology material, as well as other construction works for Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital.
As every previous event, this one as well was full of friends and supporters of Patras Women Union, an Association which runs very important actions with the aim to relieve thousands of people of all social classes.
Fay Skorda apparently touched, became a member of Patras Women Union, visited rooms of the hospital and talked with children and parents. Sweets donated by Caravel patisserie and gifts offered by Euroline Stauros Mpakolias were provided to all the hospitalized children.
Philanthropist Alexandros K. Kallergis supported Patras Women Union effort and he will endorse it everyday possible.
Restis Group, maritime Enterprice and radio station Music 89.2 were in charge of this donation, which was made aware to the public all over Greece via public relations agency ‘’Beautiful People PR’’, through printed and electronic journals, attracting more people’s sensitivity towards this matter.
