The “Praxis Agapis” Organization in collaboration with the Military Vehicles Association organized a charity lunch event at the Thessaloniki Guard Officers Club, on the occasion of World Day to eliminate violence against women, with the aim of presenting it for the first time in Greece. Implementation created by the Agency through which women, victims of violence, will be able to communicate in real time and through written messages with responsible staff of psychologists and social workers private and state structures.
This was given by famous people, official representatives, distinguished personalities from the business, journalistic, athletic and artistic world, academics and scientists in the field of health, who spoke about the need for vigilance and action on the subject of the subject of Violence. The event was presented by journalist Christina Kanataki, who addressed a message for every woman, along with the beloved presenter Fay Skorda, the Vice-Mayor of Thessaloniki Metropolitan Voula Patoulidou, the Vice-Mayor Aggelos Charisteas.
The “Praxi Agapis” organization, feeling the social character of the work it does, together with the Historical Military Vehicles Association, a member of the Hellenic Federation of Vehicles, a non -profit association, gave the opportunity to start the dialog. The beginning was with the valuable application created by the “Praxi Agapis” organization, contributing decisively to the elimination of the phenomenon. In the context of the intervention, the Agency provides: Medical Services and Therapeutic Programs through its interdisciplinary staff (social and medical department), performs social work.
