Dr. Vet Nikoleta Seretis, as part of her activity to inform and raise awareness regarding the needs of our four-legged friends, held a unique Charity Dinner to support the Voluntary Union of Animal Lovers of Petroupoli – “Save the Tails” at the iconic restaurant “Rakkan Athens” with selected guests, in the presence of the association’s ambassador and beloved actress Joyce Evidis.
Many famous people from the journalistic, artistic & business world of Athens embraced this effort, with the aim that no animal should suffer helplessly on the streets. The Voluntary Union of Animal Lovers of Petroupoli – “Save the Tails”, with an inexhaustible love for the strays, for 5 years has hosted an average of 15 animals in the shelter, mostly elderly, who need special care. With the aim of daily care for the care of strays, they provide feeding, clean drinking water and medicines through the shelter, while they also undertake the feeding and sterilization of cats in neighborhoods, the treatment of sick or injured animals and their temporary accommodation until found a permanent home.
