As part of the activity for information and awareness in relation to the needs of our four-legged friends, a unique Christmas-Charity Bazaar was held by the Voluntary Animal Welfare Association of St. Petersburg – “Save the Tails”, with distinguished guests, in the presence of the union ambassador and favorite actor Joyce Evidi. At the most beautiful time of the year, the guests who attended contributed to this effort by buying their Christmas presents from the “Save the Tails” counter, while helping to feed, care and take care of the homeless in Petroupoli city. The event was held with the kind support of Dr. Vet Nicoleta Sereti, who embraced this effort in her own way, so that no animal would suffer helplessly on the streets.
The Voluntary Animal Welfare Association of Petroupoli city – “Save the Tails”, with an inexhaustible love for the homeless, for 5 years now hosts in the shelter an average of 15 animals and mainly elderly, which need special care. In order to take care of the homeless on a daily basis, they provide shelter, drinking clean water and medicine through the shelter, as well as feeding and neutering cats in neighborhoods, caring for sick or battered animals and temporarily hosting them until found permanent home.
